- 5+ years of experience in software development in Java/Kotlin and GoLang/Python languages. Familiar with best practices of code writing.
- Experience in owning an infrastructure (build/support) (Having experience with Terraform (or ansible/checf/salt), Kafka, KafkaConnect)
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS)
- Container, docker is not just a buzzword
- Very good understanding of REST API principles and internal structure.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD systems.
- Familiarity with principles such as IaC (infrastructure as a code)
- Familiarity with technologies such as oAuth and JWT.

Being an SRE Developer at Payconiq means you play a key role within our infrastructure team. Within this team, you will be responsible for building secure, scalable, reusable infrastructure architecture. You will work on creating effective high-quality cloud-based secure solutions to prevent our systems from failing and you will set up clear monitoring mechanisms for the times it does. To do so you’ll be working with Docker, Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes, Terraform and Python.
Throughout your work, you’ll remain self-critical, use a sound rationale and follow our existing procedures. On occasion, some creativity may be needed too though. On a day-to-day basis, you will spend a lot of time coding and building infrastructure process automation. You’re constantly on the lookout to find solutions to further improve our infrastructure and prevent future outages. Throughout your day you will work very closely with the team of Site Reliability Engineers and effectively communicate with them when needed.
Next to this, you will go on-call for one week every month for which you will of course be compensated!
